My fee is $220 per hour for individual counselling. The Medicare rebate is $101.55, if you have a Mental Health Plan. You do not need a mental health plan to attend counselling. However you can not access the rebate without one. Please see below for further information. Please contact me for fees for supervision/consultation.
You do not need a referral to attend counselling, however, if you would like to access one of the schemes below you will need to follow the outlined process.

Victims ServicesI am an approved Victims Services Counsellor. This means that if you have been a victim of a violent crime such as domestic violence, sexual assault etc you may be entitled to free counselling through this scheme. Please contact me to discuss this further or alternatively look at the Victims Services website where you are able to request me as your counsellor. Unfortunately, my Victims Services referrals are currently closed. |
MedicareI am registered with the Better Access Scheme. To access this scheme you need a referral from your Doctor. You are initially entitled to six sessions and then an additional four if your Doctor approves this per calendar year. You do not require a mental health plan to attend however you can not access the rebate without one. The referral must include the following information for you to get a rebate from Medicare:
You may like to show your GP this list when they are making the referral to ensure all necessary information is on the referral. Under this scheme, you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $101.55 after you have paid your $220.00. Your Medicare rebate may take a few days to arrive in your account. |
